• Scorecard Download (Paid: ₹500): June 01 – December 31, 2026

• Women / SC / ST / PwD: ₹1000
• Other Candidates: ₹2000

Extended Period (September 26 – October 06, 2025)

• Women / SC / ST / PwD: ₹1500
• Other Candidates: ₹2500

Note : The application fee for GATE 2026 has been determined on a per-paper basis; therefore, if a candidate applies for two papers, they will be required to pay double the fee. Furthermore, payment must be made exclusively through online modes (UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking), and once submitted, the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

• Candidates must be undergraduate students in their 3rd year or above, OR
• They must have completed their graduation.

• Engineering / Technology (B.E. / B.Tech)
• Architecture (B.Arch / B.Planning)
• Science (B.Sc / M.Sc)
• Commerce / Arts / Humanities
• Pharmacy (B.Pharm / Pharm.D)
• Agriculture / Forestry / Horticulture

Others Eligibility : Regarding other eligibility criteria for GATE 2026, no minimum marks have been prescribed; furthermore, candidates from both India and abroad are eligible to apply for this examination. Additionally, candidates pursuing professional courses-such as AMIE- are also eligible to apply, provided that their course is recognized by the relevant authority.

Note: In GATE 2026, there is negative marking of 1/3 for 1-mark MCQs and 2/3 for 2-mark MCQs, whereas there is no negative marking for MSQ and NAT questions.

• Click on this link to visit the official GATE website.
• Click on “New Registration.”
• Enter your name, email ID, and mobile number.
• Create a password and submit.
• You will receive an Enrollment ID.

Step 2: Log In

• Log in using your Enrollment ID and password.
• Open the application form.
• Step 3: Fill in Personal Details
• Full Name (as per your ID)
• Date of Birth
• Gender, Category
• Address and Contact Details

Step 4: Fill in Educational Details

• Degree (B.Tech / B.Sc, etc.)
• Name of College/University
• Year of Study / Year of Passing

Step 5: Select Exam Details

• Select your subject (Test Paper).
• Provide 3 choices for your exam city.

Step 6: Upload Documents

• Passport-sized photograph
• Signature
• Valid ID Proof (Aadhaar / PAN / DL, etc.)
• Category/PwD Certificate (if applicable)

Step 7: Payment of Application Fee

• Make an online payment (via UPI / Card / Net Banking).
• Pay the fee applicable to your category.

Step 8: Final Submission of IIT Gate Result 2026 

• Review the form once.
• Click on “Submit.”
• Download a PDF copy of your application form.

How to check the IIT GATE 2026 results ?

1. First, navigate to the ‘Link Section’ of this post.
2. There, you will find a direct link to check your result; click on it.
3. You will now be redirected to the official GATE website (GOAPS Portal).
4. Click on the “GATE 2026 Result” link.
5. Enter your Enrollment ID / Email ID.
6. Enter your password.
7. Fill in the CAPTCHA and click on ‘Login’.
8. Your IIT Gate Result 2026 will appear on the screen.
9. Download or print your scorecard for future reference.
